Perpetually #huangry. Occasionally #huangover.

Hi. I'm here.

I've dropped off this blog for almost two months because — surprise, surprise — I've been traveling. And then dealing with catching up at work after traveling.

(Not that this absence really affected your day-to-day life, I'm sure.)

Here's a short recap of what I've been up to.

May 11-15

Flagstaff, AZ, for a BFGoodrich activation. We stayed about an hour away in Sedona, which was really cool. I loved the daily drive from Sedona to Flagstaff and seeing the way the landscape changed from red rock formations (like the ones in UT) to the ponderosa forests and high mountains. Not a bad drive, either, going up AZ-89A.

My phone did die (the infamous Nexus 5x bootloop) on the last day in AZ, which made things pretty interesting since I've been using the Delta app for boarding passes and since I was going to be on a plane to another country on the 17th.

May 17-29

Taiwan with my mother and little brother for a long overdue return to the homeland. Or something. We spent time in Huwei, Taichung, Tainan, Kenting, Taidong, Hualien, and Taipei — basically a road trip around the edges of Taiwan. I've been posting photos from that trip on Instagram for the last month or so, if you want to see those vibes.

I've been trying to process my thoughts on being in Taiwan (and there's some of that in TOWN's July issue), so there may be more posts on that trip and that experience. (If you're into that kind of thing, I guess.)

Since Memorial Day, I've been back in the office catching up on work; enjoying some co-working experiments at Atlas Local and The Wheelhouse; and gone to Asheville for Blair's birthday.

More to come, but for now, here's me getting back in the saddle.
